Who They Were
John's father, John, had a Watchmaking and Chronograph Manufacturing business at 53-54 Barbican in the City of London. By the terms of John's will, his sons William and Thomas were named executors, although the business seems to have passed to William by the time it was listed in the 1902 directory, when it had become William Bryer & Sons, Gold and Silver Refiners. Thomas had a separate business, T J Bryer & Sons. Today, one of the blocks of flats in the Barbican Estate is named Bryer Court, after John's company, and more information can be found on the Barbican Living website.
John was also a watchmaker but branched out into nautical instruments. I have been unable to find his death record.
Daughter Enid Lucy married an Australian and emigrated to Griffith New South Wales.

1881 - Suffolk House Woodberry Down Stoke Newington; Annie was a visitor at the home of John and Sophia Bryer, and son John was also there.
1886 - 51 Leister Park Stoke Newington; at the time of son Harold's baptism.
1891 - 63 Grange Road; John and Annie with Harold.
1901 - 222 Park Road Hornsey; with three children and a servant.
1911 - St Mary's Lodge Dell Road Oulton Broad SFK; with Geoffrey and Enid. Confirmed 3 children born, 0 died.
1918 - 90 Musard Flats West Kensington; address given on Annie's probate record; her place of death is given as 12 Kew Gardens Road, Kew SRY.
