Additional Information

As noted on Peaker (or Pecker (!)) BRIER[S] Family Chart, Peaker stated to the enumerator in 1851 that he was born in Bramworth. I was unable to find a parish in Yorkshire with this name, but I did find a Kirk Bramwith, just north of Doncaster, and 27 miles east of Kirkheaton Huddersfield. To cut a long story short, I found the family, with father William probably also born at Kirk Bramwith in 1742 the son of another William BRIERS. So far I have only seen the IGI entries and so cannot confirm whether William was a Tailor like his son Peaker.
