Where They Lived
Edward Henry was sometimes known as Henry Edward, for instance on the baptismal record of Henry James, but his own baptism, and all the census records of his parents are quite conclusive that his name was Edward.
The family seemed to have moved a little, beginning in Warborough where both Edward and Mary had been born, and then to the nearby parish of Dorchester, which at that time was in Berkshire but since the county reorganisation in 1974 has been in Oxfordshire. In 1891, they were still living in Warborough, with Mary and Alice. Brother William was living next door with his new wife.
