Thomas was certainly married twice, given the baptismal records of his children, and may have been married a third time to a lady called Emat. She is listed as the mother of the last two children above, but I have found no marriage record for Thomas and Emat, and the only burial record for a Catherine is in 1664, well after the birth of the children. Perhaps Emat is a mistranscription of Kat or some other abbreviation.
