Ada TONGE |
b. circa 1866, Birmingham |
Who They Were
Thomas is still very much a mystery. He married when he was 40 a widow with one child; the couple appear to have had no children together, although Ada is called Bryer in the 1881 census. All three drop off the records after 1881, so I am tempted to conclude that they emigrated.
Where They Lived
At the time of the 1871 census, Thomas was unmarried, living with his parents at 21 Tavistock Mews, St Giles.
In the 1881 Census, Thomas & Emma lived at 10 Henrietta Street, St George Bloomsbury.
