Who They Were
Although his birth certificate record states his name was Ernest William, he seems to have preferred the name William and is shown as such on every census.
Where They Lived
In 1891, the family was living in Wenlock Street Shoreditch, with son John who sadly died two years later. by 1895 they had moved to West Ham and had another son and a daughter, but neither survived, and in 1901 and 1911 William and Louisa were living in West Ham alone.
