Where They Lived

At the time of the 1841 Census, James and Charlotte were living a few doors away from to Edward and William, and their families, and from Richard and Rachel. In 1851, they were living at a house called Neals in Checkendon, only Henry and Charles were with them. In 1861, they had moved to Rotherfield Peppard, and although they appeared to be living alone, Henry was living only a few doors away from them. In 1881, they lived at Peppard Common Cottage. In 1891, they lived at Kingwood, Rotherfield Peppard; there was no sign of Henry here, or indeed anywhere in Oxfordshire.
