Where They Lived
In 1841, Joshua was living with parents George and Sarah, and his brother William. In 1861, Joshua and Jemima were living in Chertsey with Emily, Jemima's daughter.
In the 1881 census, Joshua and Jemima were living in Hitchin Ride Road Chertsey. There were no children with them in 1881, but in 1891 they were living in Brox Road Ottershaw with two foundlings. By 1901, Jemima had died, and Joshua was living with his step daughter Emily and her husband Thomas. When his will was proved in 1904, the main person named as beneficiary was Charles Brookson, publican, who received the £46 12s Joshua had left.
