Who They Were

After Flora's death, Arthur remarried, to May SAVILLE in 1916, and they had two further sons, James (b. 18 May 1918) and Leslie (b. 27 Mar 1921).

Where They Lived

In 1891, Flora was a general servant at 15 Cambrian Road Richmond. When she married in 1898 she gave her address as 120 Sandy Hill Road Plumstead KEN; sister Annie was a witness. In 1901 the family lived at 17 Gildersome Street Woolwich, but by 1911 they had moved to 2 York Villas Church Road Leyton ESS. In 1939, Arthur and May were living at 127 Goldsmith Road Leyton. In 1952, when he died, Arthur was buried with Flora in Chingford Mount Cemetery. His probate amounted to £1,356 6s 8d, son Arthur James being the chief beneficiary.
