Additional Information
Richard is another enigma. Given his date of marriage, I would have expected him to have been born around 1789. However, there were two Richard's born locally at about this date, and both can be accounted for subsequently. The only other candidate is a Richard born in Tadley to John and Ann (nee Deadman) in 1793, but this would have made him a mere seventeen years old at his marriage, an unusually young age. Moreover, there is a burial in Tadley in 1809 which could account for his non-appearance subsequently.
As far as the children go, there is a possibility that George went into the army, and subsequently settled down in Holborn, Middlesex. For this possible family, see the London and Middlesex section of the study [should I be able to confirm that the two Georges are one and the same, the London Family will move back to this section].
