Additional Information

It looks like, after bearing three illegitimate sons, Jane married James LEVEL, 2 May 1803 at Herriard. Of the three, George became a blacksmith, I have been unable to trace Alfred, and Elijah turned into a troublesome teen. In 1817, he was on trial at the Old Bailey (details below) and he was the subject of a Removal order from Heston MDX to Herriard. Three years later, in 1821, he was again removed to Herriard, this time from Fulham MDX. After that he drops out of sight.
