Additional Information

In the 1911 census, William and Minnie were living in Fulham. William's will was proved on 23 Feb 1946; The beneficiary listed is a puzzle - Elizabeth Dorothy RAMPTON, nee CHALKE, who was married to Frederick George RAMPTON of the Whitchurch branch of the family. I cannot find any connection between these two families, which is a mystery; there are no prior marriages between a RAMPTON and a CHALKE that could explain a relationship, no other William John RAMPTONs who could have died in 1945 aged 57.
