Additional Information
Sister Charlotte was a witness at their marriage. Hannah appears to have been born before Charles and Maria married; if she was born Hannah BERRY, then that could explain why I have been unable to find her in censuses and registration indexes.
Charles and Maria were very mobile, living in Ashmansworth, close to the rest of the Rampton family, in 1851, but then moving to London and living first in Albert Street Southwark in 1861, and then in Bermondsey Square Southwark in 1871. By the time of the 1881 Census, Charles had been widowed and was living in lodgings in Albert Street again.
