Additional Information

In 1901 the family was living at 77 Hertford Street Portsmouth; In 199, they were still in Portsmouth, and had Catherine's widowed mother, Fanny elizabeth, living with them. Son Henry Thomas was a private in the Hampshire Regiment 16th Batallion, when he was killed; I do not know which battle, but the fact that he was just 16 is tragic. He is buried in Portsmouth, although I cannot find he died in England. Further details can be found on the Rampton War Memorial. At the time of Henry Thomas's death, the family were living at 4 Merry Row Church Street Portsmouth.
