Who They Were

I don't know when he enlisted, but Frederick was serving as a driver in the Royal Field Artillery (83rd Battery 11th Brigade) when he was killed in April 1918. His body was never recovered; he is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, panel 4-6. [Commonwealth Wargrave Commission data on Tyne Cot]. At the time of his death, his parents Arthur and Louisa were living at 1 Luard Street, Caledonian Road, Islington.

His name also appears on the Bryer Family War Memorial page.
