Who They Were
Much is supposition. I have no proof that William married Sarah BUTCHER, but he did marry someone called Sarah and that is the only Dorset marriage of a William and a Sarah that I can find within the right timeframe.
William was joint executor of his father William's will, proved on 4 Oct 1767, and in addition inherited an equal portion of his father's wealth as well as becoming guardian to his three youngest half-siblings.
