Who They Were
This couple and their children completely drop off the map after 1854; no more births, no marriages, no deaths. This tempts me to think that they emigrated.
Where They Lived
In 1851, Charles was living with his parents, William and Ann in Holy Trinity parish Dorchester. Susan was living in a boarding house in Fordington with her daughter Susan Elizabeth; the census says she is unmarried, but that may just have been the boarding house proprietor's mistake. It seems likely that Charles and Susan had gone south so that their daughter could be baptised in his family's church, but why were they not all living with Charles' parents?
