Who They Were
Walter was a regular soldier, travelling all over the then British Empire, from Northern Ireland, Bermuda, and Egypt; to India where he was stationed at the time of the Quetta earthquake; to Palestine before World War 2. During WW2 he served as a Desert Rat, and finally was stationed in Germany.
Annie Rosina worked in the fur trade and was friends with Walter's sisters Rosina, Florence and Victoria.
Where They Lived
In 1911, Walter was living in lodgings with his mother and the rest of the children, in Islington.
Subsequently, he and his family lived in Northern Ireland, Bermuda, Egypt, Quetta India, and Germany; whilst he was fighting in North Africa during WW2, Annie and the children lived in Canterbury KEN and Catterick Camp Yorkshire.
