In 1861, William and Sarah were living in Burrow Hill with Harriet, George, and Hannah, plus daughter-in-law Alice Smithers, aged 9. In 1871, they were still in Burrow Hill with George, Hannah, Charles William, Sarah Jane, and Frederick.
In 1881, they were in Burrow Hill Chobham; in 1891, Sarah was widowed and living at Beecham Cottages Chobham with Charles W, George and Frederick.
In 1901, Sarah was living with William Raith, daughter Harriet's widower, at 8 Union Street Kingston SRY. By 1911, Sarah had moved back to Burrow Hill Chobham, and was living with son George, her eldest daughter Alice, and Ruby Raith her 14-year-old granddaughter. She died in Thorn Cottage Burrow Hill in 1919.
