Additional Information
In 1881, James was lodging in Brighton, together with his two brothers, Alfred and William. In 1901 James and Harriet were living in Brighton with William and Nellie, and they were still there in 1911. Like brother Alfred, James had risen through the ranks and was now a Police Superintendant.
Harriet's will was proved on 6 Aug 1930, beneficiaries were William James and Nellie, and the same beneficiaries were named in James' will, proved 5 Apr 1934. I have not been able to identify any marriages for William or Nellie.
