I don't know why Stephen travelled all the way to Repton in Derbyshire to find a wife and settle down. He was a farm labourer, and there is no evidence of a mass exodus from Hampshire due to lack of work. He sadly died very young, and Rosanna remarried, to John W ROGERS, in 1886.
