Additional Information
The family, minus son Charles, can be found in the 1841 Census, living in Tufton, and in the 1851 Census living in Whitchurch. In 1861, Charles and Rachael were living alone in London Street Whitchurch.
Son Charles is actually living in Crux Easton in 1841; and in the 1851 Census son Charles was living in St Mary Bourne (the entry says he was married, but there is no wife listed at the same place - see Charles's Family Chart for an explanation of this).
Daughter Mary appears to have given her life to service, as she can be seen in the 1881 census, living in Wood Lane Hammersmith.
Charles died in the Whitchurch Workhouse of cancer; Rachael committed suicide while the balance of her mind was disturbed, and a Inquest was held on 14 Feb 1871.
