Additional Information

In 1871, Charles and Martha were living at New Street Andover, but by 1881 there was no sight of them. Between 1873 and 1876 the family emigrated to New Zealand, settling in New Plymouth and raising a large family Many of their graves can be found on FindaGrave, with photos of some memorials. It would appear that neither George Thomas nor Hilda Ann married, and they are buried in the same plot in Te Henui Cemetery.
