Additional Information

Although he is called Ernest A in the census, the GRO index has their first child registered as Alfred; similarly, Mary (in the census) does not appear at all in the GRO Index, but instead daughter Annie Linda May is registered in 1892. The other children do not appear to have altered their names. When they married, both Alfred and Annie used their registered names.

In 1891, Arthur Annie and Alfred were living in London Street Whitchurch; by 1901, the family had moved to Hurstbourne Priors.

In 1911, they were living in Stratfield Mortimer.

Arthur's will was proved on 11 Jul 1930, named beneficiary was Annie Maria.
