Who They Were
Stephen did not give his father's name at the time of his marriage, but I am confident that I have fitted him into the correct family.
Where They Lived
In 1867 Stephen and Sarah were living at Bishopsgate Englefield Green, one of the principal gates into Windsor Great Park. In 1871 their address was given as Prospect Row Bishopsgate, James, Stephen William H and Annie were at home. In 1881, thery were still at Bishopsgate, but by 1891, they had moved to Crown Cottages King's Road Windsor, on the far side of Windsor Great Park from Bishopsgate. By 1901 Stephen had died and Sarah was living at 27 Albert Road Englefield Green with Annie and Albert. In 1911 Sarah was living with daughter Annie and her family at Benalder Bishopsgate.
