Evelyn had previously been married to William Henry SCIVIER (10 Mar 1914 at Basingstoke), and they had had two children, William (born 6 May 1914 at Dummer) and Evelyn (born 20 Nov 1915 at Alverstoke). William Henry died on 27 Jun 1917 at Fareham.
