Additional Information
In 1911, Walter was stationed in St Aubyn Devonport, serving on HMS Caesar. In 1940, during the first couple of weeks of the London Blitz, the family was living, together with Walter's parents, at 22 Overton Road Abbey Wood in Kent when the house was struck by a bomb, and Walter was killed. He is commemorated on the Rampton War Memorial page, where further details can be found.
