In the 1841 Census, James and Elizabeth were living in Tadley Lane with six of their children (Elizabeth was living at Tadley Common).
James and Elizabeth can be found still living at Tadley Lane in the 1851 Census, the only child left at home being 19 year old David.
Children James and Sarah married BUTLER siblings from Baughurst, Fanny (or Frances) and William respectively; they were the children of John and Mary BUTLER.
In 1861, widowed son James was living with his parents, together with his three children. He was to die within the year also.
In the 1871 census, James and Elizabeth are finally living alone, address Tadley Hill.
