Additional Information

In 1901, William was living with his mother and stepfather, prior to marrying. His address given on the marriage certificate was 22 Foundry Street Reading. I have been unable to find the family in the 1911 census, perhaps William was posted abroad and Charlotte followed the drum. His military records show that he served in both the Oxford Light Infantry (service no. 3579) and the Army Service Corps (service no. 12039).
