Additional Information
In the 1841 census, Elizabeth was shown living without a husband, at Browning Hill, Sherborne. With her was 2 year old David, 6 year old Patience, and her half-sister Mary Anne aged 14. In 1851 the family had grown, and living at the same address were:
Patience Huse daughter aged 16
David Huse son aged 12
Jane Huse daughter aged 4
It is suspicious that Patience is described as Peter Huse's daughter, but was born two years before he married Elizabeth. The only Patience I have a note of who was born in Monk Sherborne immediately before the marriages was born in 1831, and she died in infancy. When Patience married in 1852, she married under the name Patience RAMPTON and gave her father's name as John Smith.
In 1853, when Henry died, they were living at Shiredown Hannington. In 1881 Elizabeth was widowed, living alone at Malsanger, Hannington.
