Additional Information

William LONG and Mary Anne RAMPTON were witnesses at George's wedding in 1831 only six weeks before their own marriage was to take place. After George died, Grace lived for many years in Tadley, bearing an illegitimate daughter Esther in 1840, before she married James KNIGHT. Grace's later life can be seen under the KNIGHT Family Chart. In 1841 they were still living in Tadley Common. In 1861 Grace and James were found living in Nately Scures, with Esther, then aged 20, and Jonah KNIGHT aged 14, James's son from a previous marriage.
