Additional Information

Edward Walter RAMPTON was a witness at both Vera's and Marjorie's wedding, and since the GRO says his mother's name was SAUNDERS, I have slotted him into this family. Vera's husband, Clark Emerick, was a US soldier; I would be interested if they went back to the States or settled in UK, they certainly had one child born in 1946 in Basingstoke.

The graveyard at the Old Meeting House Tadley has this memorial to William and Elsie:
