Additional Information
George & Lydia lived a full life, rarely straying from Town's End Worting - they were there when most of their children were baptised, and at the time of the 1881 and 1891 censuses (the latter when George was a widower). But then, only a couple of years before he died, he moved to Devon, to be with or near his son John. At the time of his death he was living at 3 Furzebeam Row, Great Torrington, and the informant on his death certificate, E. Rampton, daughter-in-law, gave the same address. This would have been Elizabeth (nee SHACKLESON) John's wife. Details of their travels can be found on John & Elizabeth's Family Chart.
George & Lydia's family can be found in the 1851, 1881, and 1891 Censuses.
